Parents DEPARTMENTAL FEESDear Parent/Guardian(s), In order to provide a quality educational program, it is necessary to supplement classroom materials provided free by the Chicago Public Schools. The following schedule lists fees assessed by various departments for workbooks, supplies and materials. No student will be denied educational activities or services, and no penalty will be imposed on a student because of the family's inability to pay a fee. If you are unable to pay a fee contact the Treasurer and request a fee waiver application. A parent or legal guardian must complete the application. Fees are only excused if the fee waiver is approved. The yearbook fee is $30.00. The yearbook fee is non-waiverable. Fees payable by cash, credit card, or money order ONLY! Personal checks will not be accepted.
Textbooks and other instructional materials will be provided for all classes. It is advisable that students purchase a supplemental workbook as part of the written language. Prices of workbooks vary between the different languages and the various levels. |
